Sweet Dreams Nanny Agency Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

There are no fees until Sweet Dreams Nanny Agency has found a suitable candidate and employment has been confirmed.

Full-time permanent Nanny, Nursery Nurse or Au-Pair (more than 3 days)
3 ½ weeks net salary

Part-time permanent Nanny or Nursery Nurse
3 ½ weeks net salary (minimum fee £350)

Full-time temporary Nanny, Nursery Nurse or Maternity  Nurse (more than 3 days)
£60 per week (please add £40 per week for 24hr care)
(Temporary fee is non refundable)

Part-time temporary Nanny, Nursery Nurse or Maternity Nurse
£20 per day
(Temporary fee is non refundable)

Mother’s helps
3 ½  weeks net salary

Baby-sitting service
£15 per quarter
£5 per booking

Nanny Shares
3 ½  weeks net salary per family.  (Free service to employers with an existing nanny).

Once a client has registered with Sweet Dreams Nanny Agency the following terms and conditions apply


1)  Every effort is made to place a candidate to suit your requirements.  However we cannot be held liable for any malpractice carried out by the child carer.

2)  Once the client has accepted a suitable candidate, it is the clients duty to inform us immediately.

3)  Fees are payable once a letter of confirmation has been sent to the client.

4)  An invoice will be sent 2 weeks before employment begins, and it is to be paid in full within 10 working days.  If payment is not received on the due date a surcharge of 10% per week will be charged.

5)  If a child carer fails to commence employment, and a letter of confirmation has been sent, a fee will not be charged to the client.  (Subject to circumstances).

 

Refunds
6) a: Refunds will only be applicable providing the account has been settled in full as described in item 4.

b: Should the applicant fail to take up the duties the agency will try to find a suitable replacement.  If no suitable replacement is found the fee will be refunded.

c: If an engagement terminates before the expiry 6 weeks from commencement of the engagement (except when the nanny is made redundant) the following scale of refund will be given subject to conditions below.
Week 0 to 2 the client will be entitled to 50% refund
Week 2 to 4 the client will be entitled to 30% refund
Week 4 to 6 the client will be entitled to 15% refund

D: The agency is informed in writing within 3 days of termination
E: The employment has not been terminated due to unreasonable demands by the client or a change in job description or location

F: The client is still intending to employ a childcarer and the agency is given 3 weeks to find a suitable replacement.  No refund is given where the client retains the services of the candidate even though the client deems the candidate unsatisfactory.

7) Cancelation fee
If an offer of employment is made to the applicant then the client decides for any reason to withdraw it the client shall be liable to pay the agency an admin fee of £100.00

8)  Introductions are confidential; Clients passing on information relating to staff introduced to them by the agency resulting in subsequent employment will be held liable to the full fee.

9) If a temporary placement becomes permanent, the full placement fee becomes payable.

10)  While the Agency endeavors to verify the background of staff introduced before employment commences, we cannot guarantee that all the information regarding the applicant is accurate.  The agency does not except any liability whatsoever for misrepresentation, loss, damage, claims or expenses incurred by the client.

11)  The client is advised to obtain references to satisfy himself/herself of the applicants suitability.  The final responsibility for accepting the applicant lies with the client.
