Sweet Dreams Babysitting Service allows you to reclaim your social life!

Now you can find friendly and experienced evening babysitters, even at short notice. For your reassurance we interview each and every child minder in person and check all references thoroughly. At Sweet dreams all our child carers have years of professional childcare experience and most are OFSTED registered childminders or professionally qualified nannies or nursery nurses.

So how does Sweet Dreams Babysitting service work?

Once you have joined Sweet dreams you can book evening childcare with the convenience of a single phone call to 01923-221884. We then contact professional child minders who have passed our selection process and are local to your home. We always try to book a babysitter you have met before and will always try your preferred babysitter first.

As soon as we have arranged for a child minder to attend we confirm your booking to let you know who will be your babysitter and give you some information on their previous experience. You'll find your babysitting bookings are quickly and conveniently confirmed by text message, usually within a few hours.  We then ensure that both you and the child minder receive a text message reminder on the day of your babysitting booking just to ensure no appointment is missed.

Babysitters are not permitted to give out their personal telephone numbers, they will contact you on the day of the booking to introduce themselves and confirm your address and arrival time.

Rates of Pay

The following rates of pay are currently recommended for evening babysitting in your home, these rates are inclusive of any traveling costs. To ensure it is worth your babysitters' time and so that they are willing to return to your family we also recommend that babysitters are paid for a minimum of 4 hours on each booking.

Babysitter fees
Weekdays: £7.00 per hour
Saturdays: £7.50 per hour

Cancellations

Please provide 24 hours notice when cancelling bookings, if this is not done a minimum charge of 3 hours is payable to your babysitter and your booking fee will still stand.

Transport

Your babysitter should be reimbursed £3.00 for their travel expenses.
If the sitter does not have their own transport we ask that if it is after 10pm or public transport is not available your sitter should be driven home or a taxi provided. When your sitter is travelling home by taxi, we would ask that a taxi be called by telephone from your address and that they be allowed to wait in your home for it to arrive.

This way you may ascertain the correct amount of the fare and your sitter is protected from the dangers of wandering the streets late at night.

£15.00 per quarter
£5 per booking
All fees are non refundable.
